Peggy, for your brag board:
Tido Holtkamp has sold out the first edition of his book "A Perfect Lady - A Pictorial History of the U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle" and has been eagerly awaiting the books from the second printing. He has developed a very attractive "Book Talk" presentation of over one hour and has lined up a number of such presentations for the coming months. All he needs is more books.
Your "Marketing Books Outside the Box" story was very inspiring to me. It's a great idea to think "outside the box" when it comes to books sales. I think I can learn a lot from this group and I want to thank you for approving my membership.
Hi Peggy.
I liked your story of your attempt to sell via TV. I have another idea. Go international. In England there are lots of Englisg Cocker Spaniels and they knit a lot. Yes, you're correct. Just trying to get my dog Aubrey to pose for you. Ames
Hi Peggy,
This site is terrific. I finally found some time to upload some info and photos.
I want to go back and read your info tomorrow. I want a Kanine Knit - can I buy one made instead of doing it myself?? (I'm left-handed and never learned to knit and don't want to). We have a new puppy and he already outgrew the coat we bought him. Next year we may want another.
I will go back to see if I put my website info up. I do have a page on my website that provides information to people interested in getting started writing for children. Have a terrific weekend! janet
Hi Peggy!
You're not the only one that's getting snow! Charlotte is suppose to get
somewhere between 4 and 7 inches (or more) late tonight! Right now,
it's been pouring rain all day --- very dismal. What crazy weather!
I'm telling all my friends to wait till summer to come visit me! It's so
dark outside, I just want to go back to bed --- but I've got a carpenter
working in my family room "re-building" a built-in TV unit. These things
always take longer than you expect. Stay Warm!.......Kathy xoxoxo
Hi Peggy!
You come up with such great ideas! I'll have to give you a call one of these nights to get a "lesson" on how to blog better. I still don't know what I'm doing!
Florida was nice - but "cold" by Florida standards when I was there --- one morning it was 30 and the next it was 39. Good to be back in Charlotte!
I'm going out celebrating tonight. Tomorrow starts LENT and I'm giving up
coffee and wine (except on Sundays). Once a Catholic always a Catholic!
I absolutely love "coffee" --- it's going to be a real challenge!!!!!

Hmmm...wonder when they changed it. And why. Of course with my last name, you just search that and I'll show up in the top 3 on almost any search engine. LOL! Thanks for taking care of this, Peggy. :)

Peggy, how does one get their book displayed on the "Member's Books" page? I haven't quite mastered Ning yet. ;)
