A Literary Community Learning from One Another

My family and I have just been through a very trying time. We moved! Anybody that has ever moved a family of 7 and a family dog, you know what I'm talking about!

Well, it seemed like everything went wrong right from the beginning. The movers showed up late. They didn't have the proper tools to take apart and then reassemble my furniture, nor our outdoor swing set.

From there it just got worse! The movers broke stuff, refused to transport many of my belongings and then at 10:30 at night showed there true colors when they threatened to drive off with all of my stuff unless I paid them another $1000.

I was certain they were pirates disguised as movers!

Well, the next couple of nights I couldn't sleep because I was still mad at the movers for taking advantage of my family.

Eventually, my Granddaddy's advice found it's way into my head. He always told me, "to forgive and forget."

Those people are long long gone and aren't losing a wink of sleep over this incident. The only person I'm hurting right now by being angry is myself. Those people took something from my family and even stole some of my personal belongings, but if I continue to be mad at them, then now I'm giving them even more power over me, and I'm losing sleep over it too.  Forget them!

I will forgive and forget...

And finally, please share how you plan to use the success secret of Forgive and Forget.

Thanks for your time,
