She recently found out that people are having difficulty ordering it from Amazon. Fortunately she also sells it from her website, so if you are interested in reading more about it and purchasing a copy, please go to:…

Need an editor? Find an editor

If you are looking for an editor, I hope you will consider contacting me for a free sample. I collaborate with authors of fiction or nonfiction to help them prepare their manuscripts for publication. I've been working with writers for 20 years and have edited more than 400 book manuscripts over the years. And if it hadn't been for my membership in CAPA, dating back more than 20 years, I never would have discovered the literary business and changed careers to be a part of it! Looking forward…

latest edited book advertised on the cover of Publishers Weekly

I've been a book editor for 20 years now, and lots of my author clients have been published in the mainstream and independently. One of them, William Craig, wrote a memoir that has received acclaim on the cover of Publisher's Weekly, September 3rd edition. The title is Inventing Oneself, about a man whose immigrant father worked as a chauffeur when he came to the US, and whose son worked his way up in the banking industry in Philadelphia and Boston. At the end of his career he formed a…

Are you an early bird writer? Find your kindred spirits on Twitter at the #5amwritersclub. The group was started by one of my most prolific author clients, Khris Chess, who writes Young Adult (YA) novels. The #5amwritersclub has come into its own this week as a top trend on Twitter. I don't quite make it that early, but I'm up and at 'em at 6am, busy editing, editing, editing!

Let's share our top book marketing successes in this blog. Why? So measure your success by your sales volume, not just the number of free copies you gave away or the number of hits on a website. We want sales.

My top 5 book marketing successes were:
