BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP...: MEMOIRS OF A MAVERICK PRIESTI cannot believe it, but my book will be on sale in September. Had it done by Xlibris and have no complaints. They gave me a really good deal and did an excellent job.

B OOK SIGNING TOUR

This March I will head out for a book signing tour for my book, Between the Devil and the Deep...Memoir of a Maverick Priest.

The tour starts on a passenger ship(SS Staterdam) which goes through the Panama Canal. I will do at least one signing there (while traveling throught the canal?)

LOS ANGELES AREA: On March 19, I'll be at Williams' Book Store, 443 West 6th Street, and on Sunday, March 20, 7 p.m., I'll be at the Cabrillo Beach…

TRAVELING

I have just returned from a month's trip to see my daughter and grandchildren in Singapore. We had a side visit to Bali, and five days sailing in Thailand. It was a wonderful trip, but I am worn out by the 32 hour plane trip. I will write some more about this, meanwhile enjoy the photos. Ames

A week has past and I am no longer frustrated, but I still have a warning for writers. Be very careful when you are looking for agents. I was “taken” only two (almost three) times by agents who directed me to editors who never finished the work and both agent and editor disappeared after getting their pay.

I do sell a lot of books and especially patterns not only to the UK but in So. Africa, Australia, Canada, and Europe. The trick is getting the word out. If I had the money I'd go exhibit them at Crufts. I have a friend who's a British judge who wants me to come over.
