Thanks for the chance to post a shameless brag here! My book, Ben Behind His Voices: One Family's Journey from the Chaos of Schizophrenia to Hope, currently holds both the #1 and #2 spots in "Hot New Relases" in the category Health/Mental Health/Schizophrenia.

I was the keynote speaker at Let’s Get Ready Summer Career Day Kick-Off on July 30th. The mission of Let’s Get Ready is to expand college access for motivated, low-income high school students. I also donated 10 copies of each of my young adult books Linked and The Intruders.

I read Dvorah Lansky's book and it is excellent. A must if you are going to self publish or help the publishers market your own book. Book Marketing Made Easy: Simple Strategies for Selling Your Nonfiction Book Online.

I just saw, my bragg from last evening did not post. Here goes:

I have two books due out this month. A children's book, Two Clever III - Curious Mary and Esme The Bunny, the third book in my Too Clever Series. Here is a brief synopsis:

Curious Mary is heading to her Aunt Edna's farm in the country, for an Easter Vacation. Shortly after her arrival in the country, she learns a terrible fate is planned for her favorite bunny rabbit, Esme. It is now up to Mary to save her best bunny pal.

Two of my children's book were selected as "Readers' Choice" by Midwest Book Review, Children's Bookwatch, June 2011. There is the a section:

"Too Clever" is an illustrated collection of 10 short stories about inquisitive children and their adventures in learning. All sorts of subjects are introduced and explored by the curious kids who star in these short stories. Each of them has a lesson to share, making "Too Clever" an ideal learning companion for kids age 9 and up. From Cleo's Tomato Sandwich to Timothy's Man in the Moon, each story deals with a challenge and a passion for the child to tackle and master, both learning and teaching. "Too Clever" tackles a multitude of subjects and interest areas, from taming wild eagles to learning correct grammar rules for difficult pronouns. And let's not forget the subject of math, or how many Johnny cakes will be enough to feed a family of four. Bright, cheery illustrations in comic style enliven the pages of "Too Clever," while peppy heroes and heroines dominate the stories illustrating active learning. Also recommended by the same author is "Too Clever II - A Tropical Christmas" (9781456444570, $16.99), a story of a boy's eco-friendly celebrations of Christmas and special customs on a Caribbean island.
