Event Description

On Friday, May 13th, 7:30pm,  Robert Trexler will present a talk at the New York C.S. Lewis Society monthly meeting on "Roger Lancelyn Green: Teller of Tales".

 

R.L Green was a close friend of C.S. Lewis, a prolific author, and an authority on Victorian children's literature. He wrote authoritative biographies of Lewis Carroll and J. M. Barrie and dozens of novels and rewrites of Nordic and Greek mythology, King Arthur, etc.

 

Robert will describe his important influence on C.S. Lewis, including his suggesting the name for the famous "Chronicles of Narnia" series of books.
